Mary Scoviak

Mary Scoviak is an award-winning editor, conference director and content strategist with over 20 years' expertise covering all aspects of the hospitality industry, focusing on investment, operations and design. Most recently, she served as an editor and content strategist for Lindsey Henn Public Relations, an LA-based agency working with fast-growing companies in the tech sector. In that role, she was pivotal in the industry research, writing, editing and distribution strategies that netted almost 700 million UVM for a single piece of content and generated almost half a million dollars in publicity for one release. Prior to LHPR, Mary oversaw all editorial and branded content strategy and execution for various B2B content platforms.  She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Boutique Design magazine, an award-winning business-to-business publication for decision-makers involved in the hospitality design community worldwide, where she also served as conference director for Boutique Design New York (BDNY) and Boutique Design West (BDwest) and oversaw the Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design competition. Scoviak’s outstanding vision in all these areas earned her a place as one of the Folio: Top Women in Media for 2017. Prior to joining ST Media Group, Scoviak was Editor-in-Chief for HOTELS magazine and Executive Editor of HOTELS’ Investment Outlook, business publications that reach more than 66,000 readers in more than 164 countries. In addition to her post as Senior Editor for the personal finance magazine, MoneyMaker, Scoviak is the co-author with Anne Schmid of the book “International Hotel & Resort Design,” as well as “The Professional Housekeeper,” co-authored with Madelin Schneider and Georgina Tucker and a series of personal investment guides.
